  • Steel is 100% recyclable, so it's recycled globally in volumes higher than all other recyclables combined. Steel containers are the most recycled food and beverage packaging containers.
  • Steel is 'renewable'. Recycled metal is an important ingredient in the production of new metal, and can be used time and time again with no loss in quality. In fact, many of the metal packaging containers manufactured by J.L. Clark are made from up to 100% recycled material. Ultimately, the use of recycled metal saves on the amount of raw material required and can result in an energy savings of as much as 65% as compared to making steel from iron ore.
