J.L. Clark starts by partnering with customers in the search for the totally new. Take, for example, popular Ice Breakers Mints. The customer said make it pocket-sized, easy to hold and with unique dispensing. The consumer said, just make it cool.
Working closely with the customer, we started the conceptual work, moving quickly from simple sketches to more detailed drawings done with the latest 3-D modeling software.
With the clock ticking, we used our on-site rapid prototyping equipment to produce and test physical models. A breakthrough new metal container soon emerged. Its round shape broke out of the 'box-y' mint category and featured a unique plastic hinged top with 'share' and 'not to share' openings. The rest, as they say, is history.
