

J.L. Clark has launched a new line of plastic containers designed to greatly reduce both the lead times and tooling costs generally associated with the development of new plastic packaging. Injection mold tooling for the first four plastic structures, all with distinctly different and highly desirable design features, has already been developed, making it much simpler, faster and cost-effective for customers to begin benefiting from plastic packaging, according to J.L. Clark Vice President, Sales & Marketing Michael Matus.

"Until now, it simply hasn't been economical for many customers to package their products in plastic containers because of the leadtimes and cost associated with developing the high quality tooling needed for injection molding," says Mr. Matus. "Now, the tooling investment has already been made in the first of four plastic structures. The end result is now even smaller companies can enjoy the same impact from plastic that the largest consumer packaging companies have always benefited from, but with a fraction of the startup cost, and in smaller quantities than would normally be considered economical."
