J.L. Clark wins prestigious 2011 IMDA"Excellence in Quality" Award
Each year metal decorators from around the world compete in the International Metal Decorators Association's prestigious "Excellence in Quality" Competition. Year in and year out, J.L. Clark has won "Best of Category" for highly decorated metal tins ranging from a holographic popcorn tin for HoustonHarvest, to a Barnum's Animal Cracker tin to a commemorative Dale
Earnhardt tin. 2011was no exception. The J.L. Clark entry has again won a best of category award – this time for a Band-Aid® Brand Collector's Series tin that showcases many of J.L. Clark's impressive in-house metal lithography and fabrication capabilities.
"The project called for seven-color lithography, with two different varnish passes," says J.L. Clark Vice President, Sales and Marketing Michael Matus. "But perhaps most impressive was the exceptional depth and sharpness of the embossed Mickey Mouse on the front and back panels, combined with phenomenal color registration. It's one of the most visually striking tins you'll ever see."
